  • Solve puzzles hidden in paintings, corrupted rooms, and anomalies scattered across time.
  • Interact with strange guardians, explore fractured pasts, and manipulate time itself.
  • Optional sacrifices and Easter eggs reward clever and curious players.

Features

  • Surreal world with fully interactive timelines
  • Original soundtrack and audio designed to immerse you in a world out of sync
  • Hints disguised as riddles with no hand-holding
  • Hidden Easter eggs for those who dare to explore further

If You Are Stuck

Warning: This explains every quest, puzzle, and hidden path. Only read if you are truly stuck or want to see the full solution.

Quest 1 - Recover the Missing Second

  • Start in the museum. Inspect the four paintings. Each painting plays a note: do, re, mi, fa.
  • Note the dates of each painting. The first digit of each date, arranged in the order of the notes, gives the #timeline_code for the Dev Timeline.
  • Type #timeline_code to travel to the Dev Timeline. Collisions are disabled here.
  • Locate the golden sphere representing the missing second in the timeline space.
  • Return to the museum. The clock is locked in all other timelines. Only the Dev Timeline allows interaction.
  • Place the golden sphere inside the clock. Delta time stabilizes, completing Quest.
  • The timeline you get from the paintings is 1544

Quest 2 - Explore the Guardians and Fix the Broken Timeline

  • Travel to the Glitched Timeline. Listen carefully. Audio cues hint at the Guardians’ timeline location near the antenna.
  • The Guardians’ timeline is in year 1012. Explore previous years 1010 and 1011 to trace events leading to the war.
  • In 1011, observe the broken door where the war begins. In 1012, note the war conclusion and the Guardians’ corpses.
  • Return to the Dev Timeline(1544) to find shining boxes scattered in the environment.
  • Collect all shining boxes and bring them to the museum.
  • Travel to 1010 and block the door as instructed. This allows Guardians to appear in the present timeline.
  • Quest 2 is now complete.

Quest 3 - Embrace the Void

  • Go to the Dev Timeline and exit the museum. Collisions are disabled here.
  • Jump into the void to be teleported to the sacrifice room.
  • Choose a sacrifice:
    • Gravity: You lose normal gravity but can jump higher to reach areas otherwise inaccessible
    • Sprinting: You lose sprinting speed but can solve alternative paths requiring endurance
    • The correct choice is gravity. If you choose something else then you can jump in the void again or go to timeline v02 to go back to the room.
  • Use the sacrificed ability to navigate the final chamber.
  • Locate the Greater Jar of the 4th Dimension. This item restores balance across all timelines.
  • Quest 3 complete. Time is fully repaired.

Puzzle Tips

  • Observe audio-visual cues. Glowing objects, particle effects, and musical notes are hints.
  • Write down painting dates and note sequences. These are key to timeline codes.
  • Exploration is mandatory. Some clues are hidden in plain sight or in broken timelines where physics behave strangely.
  • Pay attention to environmental changes after placing objects or interacting with items in the Dev Timeline.

Final Note

Thank you for playing. This game was made for the Patch Notes v1.1 Game Jam. Sometimes, fixing time means breaking yourself.

And just for clarifying the game has A TON of glitches and bugs left out. We want you to discover them and find the quickest way to beat the game.

If you really abuse all of the bugs you could get a record of 2 minutes or faster!

And if you are stuck in quest 1 because the elevator is up now... well restart the game duh.

And whatever you do... DO NOT AND DO NOT go to timeline BETA. Just please dont. It has the designers dreams and hopes and we DO NOT want you to see that.

And one final note: The softlocks in the game are left intentioally if you do something really weird. AND DONT FALL IN THE VOID I SAW ALL MY FRIENDS DOING THAT!

But you gotta think or you will rage quit. The puzzles are really hard. like REALLY hard i bet none of the judges will be able to finish quest 1.

Controls

  • WASD: Move
  • Mouse: Look around
  • E / F: Interact or type timeline codes
  • Space: Jump
